The London Essence Company 

Brand Elevation designed and printed a range of promotional material and branded packaging for London Essence Co.. Collaboratively we created a gift box including sample bottles, along with sample bottles of gins within an 8-day turnaround period. 

The London Essence Co., founded on the banks of the River Thames, crafts luxurious drinks from the purest flavours. By selecting the finest botanicals and gently distilling them, they capture their true essence in bespoke branded packaging.

The Purpose

Initially, we met with Counterpoint Ireland to develop a brief which presented their products in an elegant branded gift box. Our aim was to design an elegant box which had sufficient protection to ensure the bottles were kept secure during shipping and transportation.

The branded packaging aimed to illustrate the range of flavours and sizes of bottles London Essence Co. offer. In addition to the samples of different flavours of black water gin and ha’penny gin in a Christmas inspired gift pack for PR agencies and journalists to sample and review the products.

Our Approach

Counterpoint tasked Brand Elevation with the creation and print of 70 gift packs. Due to the short turnaround time for the campaign, we received the samples 10 days before the allocated deadline. The concept to delivery of the branded packaging was delivered in the timeframe. The design concepts provided had been limited, particularly as the packaging had to fit the design of The London Essence Co. bottles.

We created an 8-page concertina (also known as z fold) which contained the history of The London Essence Co. and detailed each of the flavours. In addition, we designed and printed two A5 leaflet designs. The first A5 leaflet provided information on the gin products. A second leaflet included serving suggestions for customers.

Conclusion

Despite the short turnaround, we ensured quality was not hindered. Above all, the personalised packaging exceeded The London Essence Co. expectations and promoted their bespoke collection in an on-brand, elegant and practical fashion. 
 
Most importantly, Counterpoint Ireland and The London Essence Co. were impressed with our attention to detail, efficiency and the positive feedback received. The Christmas campaign resulted in a 60% distribution increase and a 15% increase in like-for-like market share of the premium mixer segment.
