Amnesty International
Brand Elevation had the privilege to work closely with Amnesty International to design and print a range of branded merchandise for the 2019 PRIDE campaign to ensure key messages were communicated across the world.
Amnesty is the world’s largest grassroots human rights organisation, fighting for human rights across the world.
During a strategy meeting, Brand Elevation suggested a range of products for Amnesty to illustrate their commitment and support for the LGBT community, using branded merchandise items such as personalised clothing, flags, sunglasses and signage.
The Purpose
The aim of this project was to ensure Amnesty stood out and displayed their support for the LGBT community. We wanted to make sure that every single person felt valued and could wear Amnesty branded merchandise as a sign of pride.
Our Approach
Brand Elevation worked together with a range of different departments within Amnesty to ensure everyone’s opinion were included and considered in the design of bespoke branded merchandise. We knew that the personalised items and clothing were going to be worn by a varied range of people, so it was important that our design reflected inclusion and diversity whilst being bright and vibrant for parades.
Conclusion
The Pride 2019 campaign was a great success. The personalised Amnesty clothing and merchandise resulted in a great deal of exposure for the human rights organisation.
Brand Elevation delivered 200 printed t-shirts x 2 designs, 5,000 badges, 200 placards, 5,000 Pride Stickers, 3 flags, 2 selfie frames, 10,000 petition forms, 3 mesh banners, 500 rainbow colour sunglasses amongst other colourful products!
The day itself was a fantastic success with an excess of 60,000 people attending. Social Media Influencers showed their support for free, illustrating in itself the overall success and the powerfulness of Brand Elevations branding.
